Nebraska vs.Minnesota

The Nebraska Huskers beat the Minnesota Gophers. Gina Mancuso led the Huskers with 18 kills on 46 attacks. It was a five game victory for them (28-30, 19-25, 25-10, 25-12, 15-11). It was a pretty close match throughout the night, it went back and forth each game. In the first set they battle back and forth, one team would take a lead and then the next. Finally, Minnesota won the first set 29-30. In the second set it was still point for point. Nebraska made to many errors in the second set, and Minnesota took the second set 19-25. In the third set Nebraska came out and knew what they had to do to win. They got up 10-0 right away, they came out and played their game. Huskers took control right from the beginning and they kept the momentum rolling all the way to the end, closing the game at 25-10. In the fourth set Huskers came out and did it again, they knew what they had to do and they did it. They played a really good game, closing it to 25-12. In the fifth set it was a little nerve racking but they Huskers managed to take over control, winning 15-11.

The Huskers played a really good game. I think that in the first in second sets, they could have came out a little harder and they probably could have taken it in three instead of five. In other words they played a really good game. They are lucky they came out in the third, fourth, and fifth sets, and played their game. If they wouldn't have came out in the third especially they probably would have gotten beat. Least they know when to step their game at the right point.

It sounds like they are a pretty good team. And sounds like they know when to come together as a team and win games.

Have they lost any sets before? Do you think the Gophers are an especially good team?
